Harvest Supper with Horrell & Horrell: 11 September

We’re co-hosting once again with Jules & Steve from Horrell & Horrell for an unmissable three-course Harvest Supper. Showcasing the abundant riches from our land, we’ll be feasting under canvas in the Kitchen Garden.

Dine With The Romans: 25 September

Dinner goes antiquarian at Villa Ventorum as we take a leaf out of the ancients' book and serve up a feast worthy of Bacchus himself. Head to the Villa after hours and settle into garden surroundings, and enjoy cuisine inspired by history.

Details and menu to follow.

What's On this Autumn At The Newt

Autumn at The Newt starts with a hearty Harvest Supper, weaves it way through horticultural must-dos (think seed gathering and autumn wreath making workshops), and builds to a cyder-fuelled fever pitch at our annual Apple Day Weekend.

Apple Day Weekend: 17 & 18 October

A two-day celebration of all things apple; from juice pressing to apple games, displays, recipes, cyder tastings and tractor tours through the orchards.

Access to Apple Day Weekend is part of a Newt Membership. Member Guest Passes are available to purchase via The Newt App from 6 August.

October Half Term: 23-31 October

Muddy boots, rosy cheeks, and ample chances to get outside, whatever the weather. See our Newtlings page for the full programme.

Fire Night: 6 November

Members are invited to join us to mark the passing of the seasons with fire, flame and storytelling.

Fire Night is a chance to give thanks for an abundant apple harvest and ward off the winter cold by way of burning effigy – with plenty of warming fare, fire and cyder.
